Farming: More Than Just an Occupation
Farming is one of the oldest and most important occupations in Rajasthan. Not because it is easier than an office job, but because farming is not just an occupation. It is the responsibility of feeding millions of people every single day.
For many years, especially in rural India, farming was often seen as a profession people continued out of family responsibility rather than personal choice. In many joint families, while some members moved to cities for education or employment, someone was expected to stay back and take care of the fields.
Today, this perception is gradually changing. More and more educated professionals are choosing agriculture—not because they have no other career options, but because they see purpose, sustainability, and a deeper connection with nature. They are willingly leaving behind comfortable careers to build something meaningful from the soil.
The Beginning of ThakurJi Organics
The story of ThakurJi Organics began with a similar choice. It started when a national-level boxing champion decided to leave behind a secure position as a Customs Inspector and return to the fields where he was born and raised.
It was not an easy decision, nor was it carefully planned. It was a decision filled with uncertainty, but it also marked the beginning of a journey that continues to grow with every passing season—a journey that eventually became ThakurJi Organics.
The story of our founder is only one part of our journey. The story of our farm began generations ago.Read the history of Thakur Farms -> About Us
From the Ring to the Fields
Leaving behind a secure job was only the first step. The real challenge began after stepping into the fields. Farming was nothing like the boxing ring, where the opponent stands right in front of you. Nor was it like a secure government job, where the goals are defined and the outcome is relatively predictable.
Unlike an office job, farming offers no fixed income, no guaranteed results and no predictable schedule. Every season brings a new challenge, every crop teaches a new lesson, and every harvest depends on factors that are often beyond human control.
Learning to Work with Nature
Nature has always followed its own course, and the true strength of human beings lies in learning to adapt rather than trying to control it.
That is exactly what we chose to do at ThakurJi Organics.

At ThakurJi Organics, we believe in:
- Healthy Soil
- Natural farming practices
- Long-term sustainable
- Working with nature, not against it
Organic farming is not a shortcut. It is a journey of patience, continuous learning and trust in nature. The results may take longer, but we believe that what grows naturally is always worth the wait.
Why We Chose Organic Farming
Everyone wants a shortcut to success, no matter what the field is. Farming is no exception. The use of chemicals to increase production and improve harvest has become a common practice. But chemicals alone are not the real problem. Greed is.
When the desire for higher yields turns into overuse, the soil begins to lose its health, the ecosystem gets disturbed, and the damage becomes far greater than the short-term benefits.
At ThakurJi Organics, we choose organic practices every single day, at every step where possible. Not because it is the easiest path, but because we believe the soil deserves it.
Seasons change. Crops change. But the soil remains the same. It is the most valuable asset a farmer owns. That is why we focus on preserving its fertility through organic fertilizers, natural practices and traditional farming methods. Our goal is not just to grow a better harvest this season, but to ensure that the same soil remains healthy and productive for many seasons to come.
We believe that crops, fruits, vegetables and flowers grown through organic methods are healthier, more sustainable and closer to nature.
Does organic farming come without challenges? Not at all. In fact, it often demands more patience, more effort and a much longer commitment. But when your vision is long-term, challenges become a part of the journey rather than a reason to give up.
A Vision Beyond Farming
ThakurJi Organics doesn’t limit itself to growing traditional crops, fruits and vegetables. We aim to build an ecosystem where people can reconnect with nature and feel it in their very soul.
A place that takes its visitors away from the harsh chemical reality of the modern world. A place where they can breathe fresher air, surrounded by more and more trees that we are committed to planting. A place where they can experience how food grown through organic methods tastes different from food produced with excessive chemical intervention.
