From Thakur Farms to ThakurJi Organics
The story of ThakurJi Organics began long before the brand itself. It started as Thakur Farms, an ancestral farm located in the village Chhoti Thirpali, Rajasthan, where generations of our family cultivated the land with dedication, patience, and respect for nature.
In its early years, farming depended entirely on rainfall, making every harvest uncertain. A major milestone came in the mid-1950s when Thakur Farms became one of the first farms in the region to receive electricity for agricultural use through a manually dug well. This transformation enabled the cultivation of wheat, mustard, and other traditional crops on a larger scale.
Despite progress, water scarcity remained a challenge. Yet our connection with the land only grew stronger. Over time, we embraced organic farming practices, cultivating seasonal fruits and vegetables without the use of harmful chemicals or pesticides. While the journey brought both successes and setbacks, our commitment to purity and sustainable farming never changed.
As our farm evolved, so did our vision. We began creating value-added products from our harvest, giving rise to what is now known as ThakurJi Organics.
Our journey started with handcrafted pickles inspired by Rajasthan’s rich culinary heritage. Instead of common varieties, we chose unique regional specialties such as Teent and Ker pickles, followed by Khajoor (Date) Pickle, Gadtumba Pickle, natural honey, herbal tea alternatives, and many other products.
Today, we continue to innovate while staying rooted in tradition. We proudly collaborate with women from nearby villages who contribute their skills, care, and generations of culinary wisdom to craft products with authentic homemade flavours.
What began as an ancestral farm has grown into a brand dedicated to purity, tradition, and wellness. Every product we create reflects our connection to the land, our respect for traditional knowledge, and our commitment to bringing natural goodness to your home.
